© Nottingham Adventure Centre Ltd 2011 site home | about us | contact us | calendar | location maps Every Boxing Day morning, the Derbyshire Association of Sub-Aqua Clubs organise the Matlock Raft Race in aid of the RNLI (lifeboats). In over 47 years they have raised more than £200,000. The race usually starts at 10am from Cawdor Quarry in Matlock and the finish line is at Cromford Meadows around 1pm (ish). Whatever the weather, there is always a huge turnout from both crowds watching and participants. If you are thinking of entering, why not post your ideas or questions on the facebook  group, I'm sure someone will have an answer.
