The Farnes are one of the most popular sea diving destinations in the UK. The islands offer a variety of diving for all levels.  The highlight is diving with the very playful seals who inhabit many of the shallow reefs. The Farne Islands are situated between 1-4 miles off the Northumberland Coast and half and hours boat trip from Seahouses. There are between 23 and 33 islands visible depending on the tide. The islands offer a safe haven to thousands of sea birds including Puffins, Guillimots, Terns and many more. The Islands also host the largest colony of Grey Seals in the North Sea. £115* per person: What’s included: 2 nights bed and breakfast (twin rooms sharing), Two days hardboat diving (proper boat with a lift - see video) 4 dives.

The boat does not come in between dives so you will need at least two cylinders per person. Air fills are available locally at the end of the day. Typical Trip Arrive sometime Tuesday or Friday evening, dinner / supper in the Craster Arms pub, allocate accommodation (not necessarily in that order). Breakfast is around 7:30am on Wednesday or Saturday morning in the main house, then off to the harbour to load the boats for about 9:00am. First dive mid-morning, surface interval, second dive sometime after mid-day arriving back in the harbour early afternoon. We then set off to get the cylinders refilled locally. The area around Beadnell and Sea Houses is simply beautiful and you will have an opportunity to take in some of the sights and scenery. So don’t forget the camera. We usually meet up in the pub again for dinner. Thursday or Sunday is a repeat of Wednesday or Saturday and we are usually heading back home by about 4pm at the latest. Google Maps tells us that it is about a 4 hour run, and if you put in NE67 5AW you will see The Haven and the Pub and it’s difficult to get lost from there. The accommodation is roughly behind where the post office is shown. Our seal trips are incredibly popular and get booked up extremely quickly. Places are only reserved on full payment. To guarantee your place book early as we are generally over subscribed. *For credit card payments there is a £2.50 surcharge, PayPal £5.00 surcharge, no surcharge for cash or debit cards.  1st - 2nd August Diving with Seals Book Now 1st - 2nd September Diving with Seals Book Now Group Holidays 2012 Jan 2012: Red Sea February 21st: Dubai March 24th: Malta May 25th: Scapa Flow July 8th: Dahab Sept 3rd: Red Sea Live aboard Jan 2013: Red Sea (Sharm) UK Dive Trips 2012 January 15th: Club Dive Day February 26th: Club Dive Day March 18th: Club Dive Day April 1st: Club Dive Day April 22nd: Portland (M2) April 22nd: Hard Hat May 5-6th: Club Weekend June 2-3rd: Club Dive Day June: 30th: Club Dive Day July 15th: Club Dive Day August 1st: Farnes (Seals) August 19th: Club Dive Day September 1st: Farnes (Seals) September 23rd: Club Dive Day October 14th: Club Dive Day November 18th: Club Dive Day December 26th: Raft Race
