Gillian took us to a world where time slows down to match the soothing rhythm of turquoise waters lapping on sun-drenched shores.
Whether you dive into the deep blue and experience first hand; the legendary walls, reefs and wrecks that the Cayman Islands are best known for,
view from above the stingrays, turtles and fish that frequent Stingray City or Cemetery Reef, or you find your state of bliss simply laying on the beach
listening to the waves and watching sail boats drift by … the sea is calling your name … all you have to do is answer.
And when your body has been warmed by the sun and soothed by the sea, you may well find it is time to treat your other senses to some down time
too. Indulge your mind, body and spirit with experiences and treatments designed to rejuvenate and invigorate – from head to toe – no sense will
remain untouched.
A simply stunning evening where Gillian from the Cayman Islands Tourism Department presented an audio visual trip
around the islands. Carnivals, places of interest, lots of things to see and do.
This was an excellent opportunity to visit islands and their culture from the comfort of the Rolls Royce Leisure Lounge,
whetting the appetite to do it all for real.
Interspersed with lashings of traditional rum punch and culminating in an extensive Caribbean buffet the evening was
a great success.
We also welcomed Nadia a resident of the Cayman Islands from the Sunshine Suites diver friendly hotel. A regular
diver who enthralled our guests with description of dramatic wall dives, easy shore dives and day boat diving.
Prize draws and an extensive information pack supplemented rounded off the evening.
To get the ball rolling, they are promoting a special low cost trip in June 2011, see here for details.
