The PADI Adventures in Diving program offers both the
Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver
certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives,
you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If
you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater
Navigation Adventure Dive and three other Adventure
Dives for a total of five, you will earn your Advanced
Open Water Diver certification.
So, what is an Adventure Dive?
An adventure dive is the first dive in any PADI Speciality. So, for instance it could be
the first dive in the PADI Dry-suit Speciality to get a flavour of dry-suit diving before
committing to a full speciality course.
After your five escorted dives under tuition, you'll be more experienced, feel more
comfortable in the water, qualified to 30 metres (restrictions apply to Junior Advanced)
and simply enjoy diving more because you'll have a better understanding the
underwater environment.
The course includes all study materials and equipment hire (including dry-suit), pool
orientation, 5 adventure dives over 2 days and certification.
To enrol you need to be a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.
Because we want you to enjoy UK
diving we teach the whole course in a
dry-suit. The adventure dives include:
•
Dry-suit
•
Peak Performance Buoyancy
•
Underwater Navigation
•
Multi-level Computer
•
Deep Dive
