Learn to Scuba Dive with Divemaster Scuba

Equipment Hire

At Divemaster Scuba we have a huge range of equipment for hire. From BCD's to complete sets of kit, cylinders and dry suits. All at competitive prices, regularly serviced and mostly less than a year old.

We can hire equipment for a single evening (pool session), a day, weekend or a whole week. What ever your requirement, chances are we can help. Reserved equipment not taken, not paid for or cancelled within 48 hours will be invoiced at double the rate. Failure to pay will result in recovery action and expulsion of club members.

Specialist equipment such as full face masks, underwater propulsion vehicles and rebreathers are also available.

It is a requirement of hire that the hirer is suitably qualified to use the equipment. Verification will be required when booking.

For hire charges see our current price list.

Terms and Conditions

When hiring equipment personal identification must be provided, i.e driving licence or passport.

Equipment must be returned on time, in good, clean condition and under these hire terms. Any cleaning charges will be billed separately and forwarded to the hirer.

Whilst on hire the equipment and insurance is the responsibility of the hirer. Breakages or losses will be charged for at the market rate. Cylinders must be returned with a minimum 20 bar pressure. Those with less will be subject to a visual examination at current prices.

Equipment reserved whilst the customer is not present cannot be guaranteed on size. Best efforts will be made to correctly reserve equipment but we cannot be held responsible in the event of a shortage of equipment i.e. dry-suit sizes. Please allow at least one hour for full equipment fitting.

The hirer is acknowledged to have the necessary qualifications or is under instruction from a properly qualified Scuba Diving Instructor and possess or are being taught skills to use the equipment supplied. A signature will be required on this hire form to confirm this.

It is the hirer's responsibility to make sure that all the right equipment has been supplied, is suitable for the planned diving and is present at the beginning of the hire period. All equipment must be checked by the hirer and confirmed to be in full working order. Please see general terms and conditions.
