We also provided a session at Beechdale Pool where a further team was selected.

The Back-Up Trust

With the help of Ponds Forge's fantastic facilities, equipment and instructors supplied by Divemaster Scuba, Wendy from Bodyglove, and a lot of help from our friends, we all had a great time teaching and giving the opportunity to try Scuba Diving to members of the Back-Up Trust. Special congratulations must go to Chris Smith, Emma and all the organisers.

National Lifeguard Championships

When the National Lifesaving Association needed help in running their National Lifeguard Championships at the Ponds Forge International Pool they turned to the Divemaster Scuba Club. We provided volunteers to help run the event. Everyone had a good time throughout the weekend.

The Dive Centre donated air fills and cylinder hire for the event.

A Night Getting Totally Wrecked

Featured in the popular BBC series"Journeys to the bottom of the sea" the team from "Priceless Cargo" conducted a fantastic presentation and open chat night at Brampton Manor on May 2nd 2001. Steve Sargison from "DISCOVERY" was in attendance and gave an interesting insight to the world of "Treasure Hunting". The RNLI Millennium Supper

The RNLI Millennium Supper was a fantastic success for all those involved. The highlight of the evening was a most entertaining and informative after dinner speech by Captain Robin Woodall, former Master of the QE2. This was followed by the completion of the National Millennium Supper Draw organised by Divemaster Scuba Ltd. The picture [right] shows the Captain with Diver Harris, Managing Director of Divemaster Scuba who supplied the first prize of a Suunto Vyper dive computer.
