Diving in Tenerife

A fantastic all year round warm climate, low cost flights and good quality accommodation makes Tenerife a popular destination for the British holiday maker. This can also be a reason why many divers avoid this part of the world.

Water temperatures in the mid twenty's °C, loads of fish, guaranteed Rays, (we saw dozens) wrecks and the possibility of Mantas (we saw 1), Pilot Whales (we saw 6), sand, sun, good restaurants should put Tenerife at the top of most diver's "must do" list. Ideal for non-divers.

Don't be put off by the "holiday maker" reputation, this is a place that can be whatever you want it to be. Secluded beaches, stunning scenery and fantastic diving almost straight off the shore. The richness of the ocean and quality of the diving took us by surprise, as it will anyone who joins us on one of our annual trips to this diver's paradise.

The proprietor Tim has been in Tenerife for many years and built up a thriving dive business. Beneath the laid back and accommodating exterior we found an attention to detail and safety which we would expect from what is essentially a British operation.
