Mike was the original founder of Divemaster Scuba in the late nineties. He developed his passion for SCUBA diving with local BS-AC clubs in Sheffield and Chesterfield eventually becoming a dive professional in 1996.

Formally a sales and marketing professional with companies including Imperial Tobacco, Great Universal Stores and Smiths Industries, he has bought his expertise to the Scuba scene creating one of the largest Scuba Clubs in Europe, a successful and dynamic Dive Centre, plus a fantastic holiday environment taking away groups in excess of 200 people to exotic locations offering superb value for money.

In late 2003 Mike decided to concentrate on developing a new Adventure Centre in Nottingham which as you can imagine offers SCUBA diving as one of its main features.

In March 2004 the company expanded to incorporate Chesterfield and in early 2006 the Chesterfield / Staveley branch was aquired by International Diver Training which now offers an extended range of technical diving facilities.

Mike has opened up new opportunities to offer a variety of courses and services combining the economies of scale with flexibility and innovation.
