This package is for four Specialty programs of your choice, Diver Stress and Rescue and enough guided dives to achieve the SSI Master Diver recognition rating. Master Diver - the ultimate recreational diver level, the Master Diver card is a sign of a highly skilled well trained and safe diver, with not only good skills and knowledge but experience to boot. 

  • Minimum Age: 12; 15 if Deep Diving is included.
  • Certification Prerequisites: Open Water Diver.
  • Academic Sessions: Online learning + 2 Classroom.
  • Pool/Confined Water Sessions: Varies.
  • Open Water Dives: Varies.
  • Maximum Training Depth: Varies. 40m if Deep Diving specialty is included.

You will be sent an e-mail to discuss what Specialty courses you which to take before being registered, allowing access to the SSI online academics. You can use a computer or any digital device to login, update your profile and start the learning process. The multimedia academics with videos and multiple choice questions keep learning fun and ensure you are perfectly prepared for your water sessions.

If Dry Suit is chosen then a pool session to orientate you with the new equipment is required, you will learn how to manage your buoyancy and trim using a drysuit. Your classroom academic lesson is scheduled to suit your needs and the specialties you selected, here we will clarify information, answer questions and show you how to apply your knowledge to real world diving. 

During a minimum of 3 pool sessions you will learn to take care of both yourself and your dive buddy! Perhaps the most challenging and rewarding of the specialty courses, the Stress and Rescue Specialty gives you the readiness to help in diving-related emergencies.

For all the specialties open water is conducted over three days at Stoney Cove or another location that allows easy safe access to the water. You will complete 6 dives under the guidance of our experienced instructors. We will teach you everything there is to know to dive safely and comfortably in your chosen subject area.

For Rescue 1 or 2 days in Open Water will give you the chance to put your skill to the test in the real environment with full open water kit, following that your instructional team will recreate some action packed life like scenarios to ensure you are read to act when the time comes.

All Sessions are followed with thorough debriefing and discussion about your performance helping you learn. On successful completion, you will be issued with a certificate of completion and a digital recognition rating (Via MySSI App) for each specialty, the Diver Stress and Rescue certification and once you have logged 50 dives you will also automatically receive the specialty recognition rating. 

This course also includes enough free guided dives to get you to 50 logged dives.

Notes:- 

You must fill out or medical questionnaire inside the training records (any questions answered 'Yes' require doctor sign off) 

Pool sessions are held at Divemaster Scuba on weekdays or selected Saturdays.

Open Water sessions are held a minimum of twice per month on a Sunday. see calendar for details. 

As with all of our programs this course can be offered as an exclusive 1-on-1 program.
