Tulum, Mexico, 8th – 22nd Oct 2022

£250.00

This is a trip not to be missed - a chance to visit Mexico’s Yucatan and dive in the crystal-clear waters of the cenotes, underground caverns, tunnels, and sinkholes that are the rivers of the area. The visibility is second to none in the cenotes and even guided cavern dives give you access to some stunning scenes. Meanwhile, you also have access to the warm sea - what’s not to like?!

Tulum is a unique diving destination, within half an hour of 8 of the 10 biggest underwater cave systems in the world and having the Meso American reef system (second only to the Great Barrier Reef) just off the coast. Underworld’s accommodation ($90 per day) is purpose-built for visiting divers, with lots of kit storage, fast WiFi, cooking facilities, a pool, and a big social area/bar with BBQ and Pizza Oven. This programme is based on guided cavern diving for recreational divers, which involves limited penetration in the daylight zone with a cave-trained guide.

Typical costs:

$185 per day (2 tank) for guided recreational cavern diving (including lunch, nitrox, equipment).

$220 per day for guided cave OC diving.

The only other costs are airport transfers (around $60 return, depending on group size), and food outside of dive lunches. We can do a Supermarket run for breakfasts and the restaurants here are great value. All the apartments have a full-size fridge and cooking facilities.

Spaces are limited and this will surely be a very popular trip, so get in touch ASAP to reserve your space. We are taking a £250 deposit on a first come first served basis - get booked in now!
